CentreWorks LIFTOFF program scheduled to start March 4
Now is the perfect time to sign up for the next LIFTOFF program at CentreWorks.
Designed and led by CentreWorks co-directors Anthony and Andrea Margida, LIFTOFF is for regional community members interested in entrepreneurship or those simply curious about what it takes to create a startup business.
CentreWorks has customized the LIFTOFF program specifically for the Danville/Boyle County and seven-county region to assist individuals in the process of developing a viable startup concept. LIFTOFF participants go through the program as a community, building strong connections and a support system along the way.

Anthony and Andrea Margida bring ‘human-centered approach’ to CentreWorks
Anthony and Andrea Margida are lifelong entrepreneurs. The couple has started ventures together and separately, from charitable non-profits for chronically ill children to company formation at NASA. They have spent the last year custom-designing, implementing and directing programs at CentreWorks.

CentreWorks features project, hotline focused on fresh food accessibility
Over the next two weeks, CentreWorks’ FUSION Community Collaboration Group: “Access to Fresh Food in Danville” team of Centre College students will be taking calls over a hotline for members of the community to share their experiences with accessibility to fresh foods, including fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and other unprocessed goods. more…

LiftOff Program Will Guide New Entrepreneurs
Anyone who has ever considered starting their own business or who’s interested in learning what it takes to be a good entrepreneur before leaping into a new venture can take part in CentreWorks’ inaugural LiftOff program. CentreWorks Holds First Virtual Resilience Bootcamp
As part of Centre College’s new CentreWorks program, 23 students recently participated in the Resilience Boot Camp, a fast-paced, immersive experience where incoming first-years come together to address complex challenges. CentreWorks Executive Directors, Andrea and Anthony Margida, designed the program around the “entrepreneurial mindset,” which aligns with the liberal arts philosophy and is at the core of CentreWorks. CentreWorks kicks-off Resilience Bootcamp
Over the summer, CentreWorks announced the launch of a virtual Resilience Boot Camp that was meant to “prepare incoming first-year students to imagine resilient communities in a post-pandemic world by fostering an entrepreneurial mindset that recognizes the opportunities inherent in the complex challenges that the world faces,” said Patrick. CentreWorks Offers Summer “Resilience” Entrepreneurial Bootcamp
How do we reimagine resilient communities in a post-pandemic world?
